You have several options for web hosting at Duke, from self-publishing on Sites@Duke Express to virtual hosting for larger custom sites. Your options include:
- Sites@Duke Express: ideal for small websites with limited customization needs. Cost: free.
- Sites@Duke Pro: Duke-branded sites with flexible layout tools included. Cost: $3,000 one-time startup + $3,000/year
- Virtual machine (VM) hosting, self-managed: used for hosting custom WordPress or Drupal web sites or other applications. Choose this option if you will be responsible for patching and upgrading your VM. Cost: varies.
- VM hosting with system administrator support: used for hosting custom WordPress or Drupal web sites or other applications. Choose this option if you want OIT to patch and upgrade your VM. Cost: varies.
