- Qualtrics lets you send and track participation, invitations, and reminders; display survey results in real time, graphically and statistically; and export raw data in a variety of formats (to CSV, XML, HTML and SPSS, a popular statistical package available through OIT software license). Other key features include customizable templates and question banks, a “quick survey builder” guide for beginners, survey translation capabilities, continuous file saving to minimize potential data loss, folders for survey organization, and collaboration with other Qualtrics users at Duke and external organizations.
- Kuali Build allows you to create online forms and automate otherwise manual processes. It can also be used to send custom emails to individuals and groups, and its integration with the Duke Directory can reduce manual entry by automatically populating directory information for individuals completing the form. Kuali Build also features a drag-and-drop custom workflow, process transparency, intelligent and customizable data reporting, and flexible permission settings.
- Microsoft Forms, available in Office365, lets you create custom surveys, polls, and quizzes to collect information. It offers customizable themes, built-in AI and smart recommendations, integration with applications such as Teams and SharePoint, multilingual support, and more. Data is populated in real-time charts and reports that can be exported to Excel.
- Google Workspace Forms is tool that allows you to create custom forms for surveys and questionnaires. You have the option to select from multiple question types, drag-and-drop to reorder questions, and customize values. The form’s appearance is customizable as well. Results are populated in real-time and charted in bar graphs and pie charts. Raw data can be exported to Google Sheets or in PDF and CSV formats.
