Important Update: Phone Service Migration
OIT is currently transitioning Duke's phone service to a modern, cloud-based platform (Webex Calling) to improve reliability, flexibility, and support across the University and Health System. Learn more about what this means for your department on the Phone Service Migration Project page.
Staff and faculty have access to wired desk phones using Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology. Some staff and faculty may also use Duke-paid cell phones for work. You can learn about your phone service options by selecting the related services listed here.
Employees with hearing-impaired telephone needs should fill out the CapTel third-party request form.
When the CapTel phone has been delivered, the employee will need to submit a request through the Duke Service Desk requesting the installation of an analog phone line.
