YubiKey

A YubiKey is a hardware token you can use to perform multi-factor authentication. The Information Technology Security Office recommends the YubiKey 5 series as other models may not meet Duke's multi-factor authentication requirements. The YubiKey plugs into your computer's USB port. Larger YubiKeys with keyring holes are easier to carry, while smaller dongles, like the Nano models, may be easily lost. If your computer has a USB-A port, consider the 5 NFC or 5 Nano. If it has a USB-C port, consider the 5C series.
