Rubrik and Backup Manager

Rubrik is a third party enterprise backup solution that copies data stored on computers/servers to central backup servers. Features of the solution include:

• File and VM-based backups completed in one scan
• Efficient backups (no “walking the filesystem”)
• Disaster recovery option (an off-site second copy) is available (additional charge applies).

OIT provides a web front-end -- Backup Manager -- for system administrators to manage their backups. In Clockworks, a link is provided to Backup Manager for each VM.
