Accounts & Access
Your electronic identity, along with all members of the Duke community, is managed by OIT's Identity Management team.
This includes assignment of your NetID, inclusion in the Duke Directory, and identity security features such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Your identity is used in all aspects of life at Duke including access to Duke facilities and services.
The OIT Identity Management team works closely with the IT Security Office to protect Duke identities, the core of which includes MFA (also known as two-step verification).
