Please migrate your data out of the NFS home directory to CIFS provided home directories. The CIFS home directories can be accessed at \\homedir.oit.duke.edu\users\n\netid.

NFS is a personal home directory that allows you to store and manage files for your personal, private use on Duke's centrally-managed storage infrastructure. One of the benefits of using NFS is that it supports case sensitivity, a feature missing from CIFS, which can cause problems for Linux software applications.
