Audiovisual Classroom Support
The OIT Audiovisual (AV) Team provides end-to-end AV solutions from consulting to design and installation as well as ongoing support across Duke University.
We manage classroom AV support for Arts & Sciences, Duke Global Health Institute (DGHI), the Nicholas School of the Environment, the Duke Lemur Center, and the Marine Labs. We also collaborate with graduate schools and other departments to offer Tier 2, Tier 3, Engineering and Integration services.

- Classroom technology support, consulting, and on-site assistance
- Lecture capture (Panopto) and Zoom Room cart setup
- AV system design, installation, integration, and project management
- Training, walkthroughs, and best-practice guidance
- Purchasing, asset management, and requisition support
Our goal is to provide responsive, expert support that ensures reliable classroom technology and excellent experience for faculty, staff, and students.
How to Request Support
Need help with classroom AV? Submit a support ticket for all AV requests.
If you don't receive a response within two business days, please reply to your ticket or contact the OIT Service Desk at 919-684-2200. Be sure to reference your ticket number.
For urgent classroom issues (e.g., AV not functioning during class), a technician will respond promptly.

Full-time staff in OIT's AV Classroom Support Team office are available Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. The office is closed on weekends.
