Software Manager: How to cancel a license

Follow the steps below to cancel a license and stop billing for Software Manager purchases: software-manager.oit.duke.edu

To cancel your license(s):

  • Log in to Software Manager.
  • Select the My Licenses tab (this can also be done in My Orders).
  • Select View Details for the license you would like to cancel.
  • Click Cancel License and confirm OK.

*The person who places the order must make these changes.

To cancel a license you purchased for someone else:

  • Log in to Software Manager.
  • Select My Orders to view orders that you placed (for yourself or others).
  • Click View Order Details for the order you need to update.
  • Select Cancel License beside the user(s) you would like to cancel and confirm OK.
