'Report Phish' button will go away this month.

After June 24, members of the Duke community can report phishing and junk email by using the “Microsoft Report” button in Outlook. The “Microsoft Report” button is a security feature that allows users to conveniently flag potentially harmful emails and contribute to enhanced email security to protect our organization from cyber threats.

All members of the Duke community are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the “Microsoft Report” button. This button allows users to report suspicious emails to IT Security and helps to protect the Duke community against potential phishing attempts. The button is available in any Outlook client (PC, Mac, web, or mobile). Depending on the Outlook client, the “Microsoft Report” button may look like either of these options:

Some users already have the “Microsoft Report” feature in their Outlook ribbon, and others will receive the feature no later than Tuesday, June 25.
