What is DukeFlyer
DukeFlyer is a way for anyone with a Duke NetID to submit a flyer to Digital Signage displays across Duke University. You will be able to upload flyers to a public pool where digital signage owners can add flyers to their signs. After a flyer is added to a digital sign, you will be able to track where your flyer is being displayed.
For Digital Signage display owners, it’s an opt-in service that allows you to upload and manage your flyers as well as flyers from other departments and users. You can select which flyers you want to automatically be displayed to your signs.
NOTE: The decision to add a flyer to a digital sign is determined at the discretion of the sign owner(s) only.

Overview of Changes & New Functionality
What’s New for Feed Owners & Managers
- All users that manage feeds for their group or department will be called a feed manager. There must be at least one feed manager that’s considered the feed owner(s). The feed owner will be the main contact for any requests or questions about their feed. All requests to add feed owners or managers will need to be requested.
- Now able to edit an existing flyer, if they own it, and replace the image with a new version without having to delete and re-upload the image.
- When looking at public pool flyers, users can now see where the flyers are being displayed, even if they don’t own them.
- When editing your Feed, you can now see both the public pool flyers and flyers currently assigned to your feed on one page, along with the ability to drag/ drop flyers from the public pool.
What Has Changed Overall
- The entire WebUI looks different. information about the service is no longer on the web landing page. It’s now located on the DukeFlyer service page.
- Feed owners and managers now see their ‘group name’ on the left side instead of their feed names. They’ll need to select the group name first in order to see their feeds.
- Users do not need to save the images using a specific DPI; however, you need to continue using resolutions of 1920x1080 (landscape) or 1080x1920 (vertical)
