Micorsoft 365 Copilot: @alumni.duke.edu account set up for iOS
This knowledge article gives you instructions on setting up your @alumni.duke.edu account with Microsoft Outlook for iOS.

Installing Outlook
Note: If Outlook is already on your phone, skip to Adding Your Alumni Account.
1) Open the App Store on your phone and search for “Outlook”.
2) Install the app:
- If you’ve never installed Outlook, tap Install.
- If you’ve installed it before, you’ll see a cloud icon. Tap it to download again.
3) Once the app is downloaded, open Outlook.
4) After opening the app, skip ahead to “Adding a New Account in Outlook”.
If You’re Adding an Extra Account in Outlook
1) Open Outlook and tap your profile icon (your initial) in the top left corner.
2) Tap the envelope with a plus (+) icon.
3) Select “Add Email Account”.
4) Then follow the steps under Adding a New Account in Outlook, starting at Step #2.
Adding a New Account in Outlook
1) Tap “Add Account”.
2) Type in your email address and tap “Add Account”.
3) A Duke login screen will appear with two options:
- Login with NetID – choose this if your NetID is still active.
- Login with OneLink – choose this if your NetID is inactive.
4) If logging in with OneLink, you can:
- Enter your OneLink ID and password, or
- Log in using OneLink-registered social media.
5) After logging in, you may be asked if you want to “Add Another Account”. Tap “Maybe Later”.
6) Your Alumni Email Account is now added to Outlook.
