How do I find the hardware address (MAC address) on a Macintosh computer?
Answer
Method 1:
- Click on the Apple menu and select System Settings.
- In the System Settings window that appears, select Network.
- In the network window, highlight the network adapter you need information for and click Advanced on the bottom right.
- The internet adapter's MAC address will be on the bottom.
Method 2:
1. Hold down the 'Option' key and click on the Apple logo in the top left of the screen.
2. While still holding down 'Option', click on 'System Information'.
3. In the System Information application, select 'Network' from the left sidebar.
4. Select your Network Adapter

On your keyboard press the "option" key then click your Wi-Fi Icon
Using this command will make your computers MAC address visible
