Duke Tech Week



Join us for an exciting week of technology! OIT will host Duke Tech Week on the Bryan Center Plaza from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 2, through Thursday, Oct. 5, to raise awareness about technology resources available to students. Highlights include: A scavenger hunt for prizes A hashtag challenge using #DukeTechWeek2023 A lock-picking station Go phishing with Security Immersive Dall-e: Create and jump into your AI art Use a Glowforge laser to engrave your own keychain Student-created apps you can use right now Free popcorn, candy and too many giveaways to list here...! The event coincides with Cybersecurity Awareness Month. The Information Technology Security Office will be on hand to provide tips on staying secure online, and walk students through a hands-on demonstration. IT groups represented include The Link, the Information Technology Security Office, the Innovation Co-Lab, the Bryan Center Studios, the +Programs (Code+ and Data+), the Center for Computational Thinking, the Duke Technology Center, and more.
