Assistant Director of Alumni & Development Systems

The Assistant Director of Alumni & Development Systems, Todd Blandford oversees all aspects of data management, reporting, and interfaces for the Alumni Engagement & Development Department at Duke University. Todd joined Duke University in 2000 as part of the IT staff for Duke Health (DHTS) and transitioned to the University side in 2009.

With more than two decades of experience working in the higher education sector, Todd leads a team of dedicated professionals who work closely with other departments to support the system of record for tracking alumni and donor giving to Duke (DADD). Additionally, Todd and his team maintain and support several other AED departmental systems that are essential to the day-to-day operations of keeping alumni engaged with Duke.

Beyond his work at Duke, Todd is actively involved in several professional organizations, including serving on the Vendor Committee for the Association of Advancement Services Committee (AASP). He is also engaged with various internal committees at Duke, such as the Tech Expo Committee and the Code+ program, where he served as a Team Lead.
