Device Registration Policy

REGISTER YOUR MISCELLANEOUS DEVICES

For miscellaneous devices such as printers, gaming consoles, smart TVs and other multimedia equipment, please register each device at DukeReg. You will need your Duke NetID to complete the process. 

Important note: Chromecast will not work on the Duke wireless network. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with university environments that have Enterprise networks.

IP ADDRESSES

Register your computer or device with DukeReg. By default you will receive a dynamic IP address. If you need a reserved IP address (for a printer or a server), you will need to register the device and then contact the Service Desk for further assistance.
