The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is seeking a diverse group of Duke undergraduate students from ANY major to join the OIT Student Marketing Committee for the 2024/25 academic year.
If you are passionate about marketing and communications and want to improve the tech experience for all Duke students on campus, we would love to hear from you! OIT is forming a Student Marketing Committee, and we’re looking for dedicated and creative Duke students to join.

As a committee member, you will play a crucial role in shaping OIT’s student marketing campaigns and enhancing student engagement.

Your Role:
- Monthly Meetings: Attend a meeting with OIT Communications to contribute ideas, share opinions, and provide insights on marketing campaigns.
- Creative Brainstorming: Help us brainstorm innovative ways for OIT to participate in the latest trends and engage with students on social media and other digital platforms.
- Research and Feedback: Investigate the best channels to reach students, gauge student awareness of OIT products and services, and determine which giveaways students would appreciate most.
- Direct Student Feedback: We want to hear from students directly. Your input is invaluable in making our services more student-friendly and effective.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Duke student – undergraduate or graduate – in ANY major, not just tech-related fields
- Demonstrated interest or experience in marketing and communications
- Commitment to attend meetings and contribute valuable insights
- Eagerness to seek feedback from peers through surveys and present findings to the committee
