Zoom Meetings: Configure add-in for Outlook ( Windows and Mac )

Configure Zoom Plugin for Microsoft Outlook on Windows
- Visit https://zoom.us/download and click "Download" under Zoom Plugin for Microsoft Outlook
- Once downloaded click on the download file at the bottom of your web browser or in your download folder in File Explorer
- After clicking the download folder the installer window will appear, complete the installer
- Once the installer is complete, restart your Outlook client and the Zoom Plugin will be installed on your Microsoft Outlook Client.
Configure Zoom Plugin for Microsoft Outlook on Mac
There are a couple of ways to do this.
Method 1:
- Visit https://zoom.us/download and click "Add Zoom"
- A new page opens from Microsoft to add Zoom for Outlook. Click 'Get it now'.
- A new page opens from Microsoft, it may ask you to sign in, and then authorizes the plugin
4. The Zoom Plugin should be automatically installed in Outlook for the web and the local Outlook Client.
Method 2:
- Open Outlook
- If you are using old Outlook, then Go to the Home tab and click the Get Add-ins button
- If you are using New Outlook, then can either click on 'Tools' in the apple menu bar, and then 'Get Add-ins'
- Or you can click on the ellipsis … , and then Get Add-ins
- If you are using old Outlook, then Go to the Home tab and click the Get Add-ins button
- Search for zoom in the search box and find Zoom for Outlook and click
- Click Continue to add the Zoom Plugin
- It will take a minute to add, and then show a checkmark
- The Zoom Plugin should be automatically installed in Outlook for the web and the local Outlook Client
Finish setup of Zoom plugin for Microsoft Outlook for Windows or Mac
- Go to the version of Outlook you are using:
- In Outlook on the web:
- Go to https://mail.duke.edu/ and click on calendar in the far left column
- Click on 'New event'
- Then click on Zoom, and then Add a Zoom Meeting
- Press 'allow' to open up new page and go to step 2
- Go to https://mail.duke.edu/ and click on calendar in the far left column
- In old Outlook:
- Go to Calendar tab
- Create a new meeting by clicking the Meeting button in Microsoft Outlook
- Click the Add a Zoom Meeting or Settings button on the toolbar
- Go to step 2
- Go to Calendar tab
- In New Outlook:
- Go to Calendar tab
- Then click 'New Event'
- Then click the ellipsis "..." on the far right, click zoom, then 'Add a Zoom Meeting'.
- Go to step 2
- Go to Calendar tab
- In Outlook on the web:
- Click Sign in with SSO
-You may not need the following steps if you have already signed into the Zoom app before - Enter duke in the domain section and click Continue
- You will now be brought to the familiar shib login screen where you will want to login to your Duke account
- Afterwards, your Zoom plugin will be successfully setup for Outlook
