How to reset network adapter in MacOS Terminal Step 1)

Open Terminal.

Step 2)

Disable the network adapter by typing "sudo ifconfig en0 down" (without quotes).

(en0 is the name of the main WiFi adapter on most MacOS devices)

Step 3)

You can re-enable the network adapter by typing "sudo ifconfig en0 up".
