DHTS: How to Request a New Duke Health Project or Security Review

Instructions to Request a New Duke Health Project or Security Review

 

 

Duke Health IT Portal Users'

1. Go to the Duke Health IT Portal (https://dhts.duke.edu).

2. Click Get IT.

               

 

3. From Categories, click Featured Requests.

4. Click Request a New Duke Health Project or Security Review

 

       

5. To help us review your request as quickly as possible, please complete the form and attach any relevant documents. Use the following guidelines to provide the necessary details.

  • Details regarding the project including its aims, services, detailed description, business impact date, and/or data handling and storage
  • If this is a replacement, what is the current application/service being replaced?
  • Explain the capabilities and use case, and high-level requirements as best you understand them today.
  • Attach any pertinent documentation, including vendor information, technical specifications, schematic designs, data flow diagrams, contracts, and email exchanges.
  • If applicable, include the application or service name, and current and new software versions.

6. Click “Request Now” on the form to submit your project request.

7. Your request will be submitted to one of the following portfolios for review.

  • Clinical Request - Clinical Portfolio
  • IT Business Request - IT Business Portfolio
  • Research Request - SOM/DCRI/SON Portfolio

 

 

ServiceNow Users'

1. Navigate and login to the Support@Duke site (https://duke.service-now.com/).

2. Navigate to the Service Request Catalog:

3. Under the Featured Requests area, select "Request a New Duke Health Project or Security Review".

4. To help us review your request as quickly as possible, please complete the form and attach any relevant documents. Use the following guidelines to provide the necessary details.

  • Details regarding the project including its aims, services, detailed description, business impact date, and/or data handling and storage
  • If this is a replacement, what is the current application/service being replaced?
  • Explain the capabilities and use case, and high-level requirements as best you understand them today.
  • Attach any pertinent documentation, including vendor information, technical specifications, schematic designs, data flow diagrams, contracts, and email exchanges.

5. Click Submit.
