Assessment Design, Generative AI, and Engaged Learning

This practical workshop will address the challenges facing educators who find their traditional assessments are less effective measures of student learning in the age of generative AI. We will discuss how to develop AI-resistant assessments, as well equip educators with ideas of how to create effective AI-integrated assignments. Participants will discover how AI can enhance learning experiences, foster critical thinking, help with individualized learning, and promote collaboration among students.
