OIT can help you live stream your content using the Wowza live-streaming server to desktop and mobile devices. Wowza is not a secure service and is designed for streaming of public events or events that do not require password security. 

Wowza can support large numbers of simultaneous viewers for a live stream. Because of this, it is often used for re-streaming of IP cameras. IP cameras are fixed cameras that deliver a continuous video feed of a location, usually from a high vantage point. Duke Athletics and the Duke University Marine Lab use several of these, and there are IP cameras located in central places on campus such as outside the Bryan Center.

For NetID restricted live streaming, DukeCapture (Panopto) may be a more appropriate tool.
