Troubleshooting Video Display Issues

Use this guide when: You have turned on the system, plugged in the HDMI and nothing is displaying on the screen.

  1. Cable Check: Ensure HDMI/USB-C adapters are securely connected and undamaged. Also, ensure the adapter and HDMI cable are securely attached.

  2. Check Projector: Ensure the projector is on; sometimes, it does not turn on with the system. If that is the case, look for "Display Controls" or "Projector Power" on the touch panel to turn on the projector.

  3. Input Source Verification: Use the TV or projector controls, usually on the touch panel, to select the correct input (e.g., HDMI or Laptop).

  4. Check Laptop Display Settings:
    • Windows: Press Windows + P → Choose Duplicate or Extend.
    • Mac: Go to System Settings > Displays → Click Detect Displays.

  5. Power Cycle: Restart the laptop and power the projector or TV off and on.

  6. Test with Another Laptop: This helps determine if the issue lies with the laptop or AV system.
