Authenticating and Using SAP Logon

The below will guide you through logging into the SAP Client when installed as an application on your Windows computer.

Get a Ticket

Launch "MIT Kerberos Ticket Manager" (aka "Authentic Logon")

Once the initial window appears, click "Get Ticket" in the upper-left. 
(Please note, there MUST BE a WIN or DHE ticket already there before going forward. If only one ticket exists, please either connect to the VPN if off campus or reboot your computer if on campus.)

 

Enter your netID (lower case) followed by @ACPUB.DUKE.EDU (all CAPS) and your NetID password, then click "OK" to authenticate. 


If you are properly authenticated, your tickets will show as below:  

 

Note: 

When you’ve acquired your ACPUB.DUKE.EDU credentials,  you can log on to SAP systems with  SAP Logon.

 


 Launching SAP

 

Launch SAP Logon: 

Your default connections will show similar to the image below: 
(Please note: Left Nav has "Connections > Server" selected.)

Select the system you wish to connect to i.e (PRD [Financial Accounting])
