LinkedIn Learning: How to Connect to LinkedIn Learning

Connecting Online

Anyone with a valid Duke NetID can access the LinkedIn Learning course library by visiting

The tutorial How to Use LinkedIn Learning outlines how to use the platform.

Important Notes:

  • You will be prompted to connect your LinkedIn Account the first time that you login. You may connect to an existing account, create a new account, or not connect at all. If you choose not to connect to a LinkedIn account, you will not be able to take advantage of all of the features that LinkedIn Learning offers. Please read this article from LinkedIn Learning for more information about the benefits of connecting to your LinkedIn account.
  • Duke's site license entitles you to access the entire library and all supporting course files. If you have problems accessing any files, email so we can follow-up with our LinkedIn Learning representative.
  • On the Duke Health secure network, they do not currently have an ability to allow access to LinkedIn Learning.  If you are a Duke Health employee, you will need to disconnect from the network and use Duke Guest or home WIFI to access LinkedIn Learning. We are assessing opportunities to grant access to LinkedIn Learning on the Duke Health secure network and will share details when available.

Connecting via a Mobile Device

You can access LinkedIn Learning from any mobile device by launching your web browser and logging into Duke's LinkedIn Learning site. You can also connect to the LinkedIn Learning course library through the LinkedIn Learning Mobile App (iOS and Android).
