Downloading Content from iTunes
To download content from iTunes, you can use either the Mac or Windows version of iTunes to subscribe to the RSS feed for your podcast. Once the podcast files have been downloaded to your computer, you can then browse to the directory where iTunes stores the files so that you can upload them to Warpwire, copy them to an external hard drive, or use them any other purpose.
- Open iTunes and navigate to a podcast you would like to download in the Store tab. click the "Subscribe" button under the thumbnail.
- After subscribing to a podcast, click on the Library tab at the top of the iTunes application window, and click "Feed". You should see a list of podcast episodes:
iTunes will automatically download the first episode in your podcast--the one that appears at the top of the list as shown below.
- To download the rest of the podcasts episodes, click the download button next to each episode title, as shown below:
- Once you src="https://duke.service-now.com/ve downloaded all your podcast episodes, you" l need to locate them on your computer.
Mac Version of iTunes: By default, iTunes places downloaded media under /Users/<youraccount>/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media as shown below. iTunes will place your podcasts in a subfolder here called "Podcasts". (To double-check the location, go to iTunes/ Preferences and click on the "Advanced" tab as shown below):
To view the folder associated with the user account with which you logged in to your Mac, you may need to open a Finder window, select Preferences, and then tick the checkbox next to your account name as shown below:
Each podcast you src="https://duke.service-now.com/ve subscribed to will now appear in Finder as a subfolder under /Users/<youraccount>/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Podcasts as shown below:
Windows Version of iTunes: By default, Windows places downloaded media under C:\Users\<youraccount>\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media as shown below. iTunes will place your podcasts in a subfolder here called "Podcasts". (To double-check the location, go to iTunes/ Preferences and click on the "Advanced" tab as shown below):
