DukeMobile App Setup & Features

Duke is committed to delivering information to you when, where and how you want to get it. To that end, we’re developing web-based information and applications for use on the most common mobile platforms: the multi-touch iPhone and iPod touch, Android devices and other mobile devices that use wireless access points (WAP devices). We call our mobile suite DukeMobile.

  • Directory — Look up Duke faculty, staff and students, store contacts with a few taps, and use the email or phone capabilities of your device to connect.
  • Places — Find the current operating hours of your favorite dining venue, the Link, DukeCard offices, Duke Stores, Duke Gardens and other locations.
  • Emergency — Check on Duke’s operating status, find out what to do in case of an emergency and click on “More Emergency Information” to sign up to receive DukeALERT text messages.
  • Maps — Search for Duke buildings, find them on the map and see your relative location, and zoom or pan across the map using the multi-touch interface.
