Sympa: How do I create a mailing list?

 How do I request a mailing list?

1. Go to and log in with your NetID. Be sure to click the correct login box as shown in the screenshot below:

2. Then click Request a List in the top navigation.

3. Fill in the blanks and submit your request. 

4. Each request is vetted and approved/denied.  You will receive notification of each via the email your account is registered with.  There is a 1-3 day turnaround for requests.
