How to re-register or replace your mobile device with Duo

If you have a new phone and need to update the phone number for MFA or reactivate Duo because it is not responding, do the following:

  1. Visit the Multi-Factor Authentication site and log in (if the number is still the same use another option other than duo, sms/call phone.)
  2. Under Manage Devices, Click to select the desired device you would like to make a change to.
  3. (Optional) In the page that appears, update the device information in Step 1.
  4. (Optional) Check the box to generate a code if you need to activate duo in Step 1.
  5. Under Step 2, click Continue. You'll be directed to a page where you can activate Duo on your device by scanning a QR code.

If the phone number is not the same anymore you can try the forgot device option on the login page or call Help Desk Support.
