An upgraded version(4.9) of Cisco’s AnyConnect VPN client is available now at software.duke.edu.  On October 20, 2020, this upgrade will happen automatically for all active VPN users. The upgraded VPN will work with all operating system versions of Mac, Windows, and Linux. 

Note for Apple users: The current AnyConnect VPN is not compatible macOS 11 (Big Sur). You will need to upgrade to the latest version of the AnyConnect client before it can be used with macOS 11.
