Podcasting provides various ways to distribute audio or video programs over the Internet using a publisher/subscriber model. It's best used in a situation where you want users to elect to receive an ongoing series of published audio or video files.

Duke is participating in Apple's pilot program, iTunes U.

This program allows courses and academic units to place audio and video content into a special segment of the iTunes music store for easy retrieval and attractive display.
