Telephone and Cable Television Repairs
Duke provides 24-hour emergency telephone and cable TV repair service. Non-emergency repairs are handled during normal business hours.
Before you call for repair, see Connecting Your Equipment to make sure your equipment is connected properly. If it is, then test your telephone or television on another active outlet to determine if the trouble is with your equipment. If the equipment works properly on another outlet, call for repair. A technician will be dispatched to investigate the trouble.
Note: If the problem is caused by faulty customer equipment, OIT will assess a $75.00 service charge for the visit. OIT does not service customer-owned telephone or television equipment.
For repair service:
- Call the OIT Service Desk Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
