Cable TV Service
The Duke cable television system, DTV, provides the Duke community with high-quality cable television service. Our ground stations receive satellite signals and transport them through our privately-owned distribution system, which allows us to manage service remotely, without dispatching a technician.
The EdNet channel lineup is free at all times, and you have the opportunity to subscribe to any of the pay cable TV packages (see below) during the subscription window at the beginning of each semester.
The subscription period for Fall 2009 semester runs from 12:01 a.m. on Friday, August 14, through 5 p.m. on Friday, September 18. You must pay for the entire semester in full when you subscribe. You cannot cancel service during the semester, and no refunds are available once the subscription period has begun.
