Employee Discounts on Mobile Service

Duke employees can take advantage of discounts on wireless service through these vendors:

AT&T Wireless

Duke employees who pay for their AT&T service personally are eligible for a 15 percent discount off consumer voice and data plans and other special offers. To take advantage of this program, follow these simple instructions:

  1. Visit the AT&T Sponsorship Program site and enter your Duke e-mail address. AT&T will send you an e-mail with additional instructions.
  2. When you receive the e-mail, click the "Shop Now" link. You’ll be directed to AT&T’s Premier site. Select the employee group DUKE UNIVERSITY-N FACULTY CCAU MAC IRU. You can create an account, transfer your current number from another wireless provider to AT&T, or make changes to an existing account.*

*If you wish to assume financial responsibility for a mobile number currently on a Duke account, the number must be released from Duke's financial responsibility first. To do so, contact your unit's mobile account manager. The account manager will advise AT&T that the transfer is permitted.

Sprint/Nextel
