Business unit management of Duke-paid mobile devices

Duke schools, departments, institutes, centers and other units manage the mobile services for users whose devices are paid for by Duke funds. Account managers (often business managers or other designated contacts) within these units manage accounts directly with Verizon Wireless and/or AT&T, Duke's preferred service providers. This arrangement allows business managers to directly monitor and control the cost of Duke-paid mobile devices and services. Read more.

OIT functions

OIT manages the overall contracts for Duke-paid mobile devices. In this role, we administrate access for unit account managers to AT&T's and Verizon Wireless's online tools and customer support centers, and perform a few other administrative functions. Read more.
