ePrint is being upgraded
The ePrint system will be unavailable from 6 to 8 a.m. on Friday, July 1, for an important upgrade. Once the upgrade is complete, you will need to install new ePrint software (the ePrint "client") on your computer.
You can feel free to contact your local IT support or the OIT Service Desk for help. However, many of you will be able to make the changes to your computer yourself using the instructions in the Duke knowledgebase:
Benefits of this upgrade include:
- Duplex (two-sided) printing as the default on Apple machines (duplex is already the default for Windows machines)
- Automatic updating of the ePrint software on Apple machines (automatic updating is already the default for Windows machines)
- Improved system performance
- The ability to build printing reports that users can access for themselves
- Support for increased numbers of color printers
