Your NetID and Network Access

Your Duke NetID provides access to our network and technology resources, including e-mail, digital file storage, ACES (for registration and grades), Sakai (for course information), the DukePass Portal and your Duke-issued web space.

IT Support, computer labs and printing across campus

During the first few days of school, get technical support from OIT staff in the Marketplace on East Campus. Throughout the year, get help from the OIT Service Desk in person at the Link in Perkins Library by phone, email or online chat. Visit oit.duke.edu for information and Service Desk hours.

You can take advantage of computer labs across campus, including our two Multimedia Project Studio labs for help with graphics and video productions.

Duke offers free and low-cost printing at dozes of locations throughout the campus.

Manage your E-mail

You get a DukeMail account automatically. Learn how to check your mail quota, set an away message, forward your mail, set privacy preferences, change to your email alias and filter spam.

Free and discounted software, free training

Duke provides many software programs, including anti-virus software, free or at a discount, and Duke's IT Security Office helps you protect your computer from malware.

We also have IT training available, in person and online.
