Duke provides several software programs and packages for free or at an educational discount. Make a special note that Duke provides free anti-virus software. Security is important to Duke, and having anti-virus software on your computer is a must. Most softwares are available through Duke's Site-License Web site.

OIT also provides support for varied software for PC, Macintosh and UNIX that are available for the Duke community.

Anti-virus - Free

MS Office - Free for currently enrolled Duke Students

• Microsoft Office for Mac and PC can be downloaded through the Site-License Web site.
  NOTE: TAP machines come with Microsoft Office.
