Free and discounted software, free training
Duke provides many software programs, including anti-virus software, free or at a discount, and Duke's IT Security Office helps you protect your computer from malware.
We also have IT training available, in person and online.
Virtual Computing Lab
Using Duke's virtual computing lab (VCL) service, you can log into computer "images" with specialized software from anywhere you have Internet access. You can also take advantage of computer labs across campus, including our two Multimedia Project Studio labs for help with graphics and video production.
Virtual Private Network (VPN)
When you're away from campus, you can use the VPN to connect to Duke's online resources as if you were on a direct connection into the network.
Duke Digital Initiative (DDI)
DDI helps you to put new and emerging technologies to use in support of teaching and learning. Find out more about this year's programs at http://dukedigitalinitiative.duke.edu/.
Web and Multimedia Services
