New phone menu makes getting service easier

The OIT Service Desk has consolidated its computing and telecom assistance into one easy-to-remember phone number, (919) 684-2200.

OIT customers who have a question or a problem about any OIT service can call that number for assistance. Callers will hear a list of options:

  • Press 1 for computing, network, and NetID services
  • Press 2 for cellular and paging services
  • Press 3 for all other phone and cable television services
  • Press 9 to repeat these options

By pressing the appropriate number, callers will be directed to someone who can help them with their specific problem.
