Duke RENCI hosts immersive media bistro

March 15, 2009

The Duke University Renaissance Computing Institute (RENCI) will present an “immersive media bistro” on March 24, featuring a new immersive media camera system that can capture 360-degree high-definition images from a moving vehicle.

RENCI experts will discuss the use of the camera and other technologies at the free event, to be held from noon to 1 p.m. at Duke’s RENCI engagement center in the OIT Telecommunications Building on West Campus.

Lunch is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Please RSVP by March 17 to jshelton@renci.org.
