Spring 2009 Learn IT @ Lunch schedule announced

The Office of Information Technology’s Learn IT @ Lunch series kicks off this spring with new seminars on Web conferencing software and online technology training, among others.

The seminars – designed to showcase the many technologies available at Duke – are open to all Duke staff, faculty and students. Registration is not required, but seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants may bring a brown-bag lunch.

Upcoming seminars include:

  • “Getting Connected with Adobe Connect,” Jan. 20. (CANCELED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER)
  • “Learn IT Online Anytime, Anywhere: Lynda.com Online Training Pilot,” Feb. 17.
  • “RENCI: Overview,” an introduction to visualization technology and advanced computational methods available at Duke’s Renaissance Computing Institute, March 17.
  • “DukeStream,” OIT’s streaming media hosting service, April 14.

All sessions are held from noon to 1 p.m.
