Getting up to speed with Microsoft Office 2007 or Adobe Creative Suite 4? Need to learn a new technology application for your job or class? Good news: OIT now offers online, on-demand training on IT topics through a pilot with Lynda.com.

The pilot will include a limited number of licenses available to Duke students, faculty and staff for a minimum of two weeks at a time. Find out how you can participate.

Participants also can review any training tutorial without a personal license by using one of eight designated workstations at the ACT Warehouse lab, Multimedia Project Studios, the Center for Instructional Technology and the Link in Perkins Library.

Lynda.com offers a library of 30,000 videos covering more than 450 topics. Courses range from Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite to video editing, computer programming, Web design, database design and more. A complete list of topics is available at http://www.lynda.com/.
