Duke e-mail, calendar now available on iPhones

iPhone users now can check their DukeMail e-mail and dCal agendas using OIT’s NotifyLink service.
NotifyLink automatically synchronizes various types of handheld cellular devices with DukeMail and dCal on network servers. In addition to the iPhone, the service is available for Blackberry, PalmOS, Windows Mobile and Symbian mobile devices.
The service also allows users to look up contact information in Duke’s campus directory and add it to the contact list on their device. OIT can remotely wipe a device if it’s lost or stolen.
Users of DukeMail and dCal must request NotifyLink accounts. To get started, call the OIT Service Desk at (919) 684-2200.
