How to Display Full Headers for Various E-mail Clients

While in your mailbox, right click on the message and select View Headers.
Back to the topLotus Notes R7
- While the message is open, click on View, point to Show and select Page Source.
- This will show the contents of the message. The headers will be at the top of the message.
Mulberry
- In the IMAP window, from the File menu, select Preferences. The Preferences window opens.
- Click the Advanced option.
- Click the Message tab.
- Click the Options tab.
- Click to select the Show Message Header in Window check box.
- Click OK. The Preferences window closes.
Outlook 2007
- Right-click on the e-mail message (in the folder list).
- Choose 'Message Options' from the short-menu.
Outlook XP
- Right-click on the e-mail message (in the folder list).
- Choose 'Options' from the short-menu.
- View the section labeled Internet Headers.
or
- Open the e-mail message.
- From the View menu, select Options, choose Internet Headers.
Outlook Express 6
- Right-click on the e-mail message (in the folder list).
- Choose 'Options' from the short-menu.
- Select the 'Details' tab.
Pine
With the e-mail message open, press H (Header Mode). The full headers are displayed.

- Select the message
- Click on View from the menu
- Select Message Source
or
- Select the message
- Press CTRL+U to open the message source
Vista Mail
- Right-click on the e-mail message (in the folder list).
- Choose 'Properties' from the short-menu.
- Click the 'Details' tab.
Mac Mail (OS X 10.5)
- Select the message that you wish to display the full headers for from your Inbox by clicking it.
- Select View
- Select Message > Raw Source
- The Raw Source or full headers of the message will be displayed. Note: If you wish to undo this view select View > Message > Original Content
