WebFiles

OIT offers to the Duke community WebFiles, an online service  that makes it easy for users to store and manage files. The service is available to university students, faculty and staff. WebFiles is based on Duke's AFS service, a distributed network file system.

WebFiles provides the following features:

  • Web-based access to 5 GB of personal file space
  • Shared file space for collaborating with groups, including ready-made group space for your courses
  • Ability to control the access rights for directories and groups you own
  • Personal video streaming through DukeStream Personal
  • Personal Web space; see FAQ for details

Alternate access to Duke's AFS
