Windows 7 - Services and Software Compatibility
The chart below lists popular Duke site-licensed software and IT services that have been evaluated for their compatibility with Windows 7.
Some Web-based applications will work properly in Windows 7 but require Internet Explorer 8's Compatibility Mode to be activated. This mode instructs Internet Explorer 8 to emulate earlier versions of the Web browser to display and render the page. (The guidance on Internet Explorer 8 below also applies to older versions of Windows that have been upgraded to IE8.)
