Purchasing a Computer for Use at Duke
Faculty and staff
University faculty and staff use the Duke Computer Purchasing Program, which offers computers from our three preferred vendors, Apple, Dell and Lenovo, in standard configurations to meet the needs of different levels of users. These business-grade machines have longer life and better warranties than equivalent consumer-grade computers purchased at retail locations.
Duke Medicine faculty and staff have access to a different set of standardized machines.

You are encouraged to use the Duke Computer Care Coverage program to purchase computers configured specifically to work at Duke.
