If you already have a computer and you're having trouble with it, OIT provides the following services.
The OIT Service Desk and its Service Center in the Bryan Center provide technical support to the Duke student community. Service Desk and Service Center staff are available to answer computing questions as well as provide technical consulting.
If you purchase your computer through the Technology Advantage Program, the Service Desk is your primary point of contact for hardware and software issues. Your computer will receive full hardware and software support throughout the warranty period at no cost to you.
If you didn't buy your computer through Duke or if you brought an older computer from home, Duke Computer Repair provides fee-for-service and is authorized to provide full warranty and non-warranty hardware support for Dell, Apple, IBM, and other manufacturers.
