Kevin Davis

Director, Service Management & Operational Integration

Kevin Davis directs the Office of Information Technology's service management efforts. In support of OIT's commitment to deliver high-quality, reliable and effective technology services to the institution, Davis' purview includes 24-hour monitoring of IT services to assure availability and performance; change management; ongoing review of IT services' readiness for Duke's production environment; metrics on service quality, capacity and demand; communication of service outages to campus users and stakeholders; and review of IT incidents as part of ongoing improvement efforts. He also oversees DukeCard campus card services.

Davis came to Duke in 2005 from Harvard, after almost 10 years supporting student and residential computing and technology efforts there. At Duke, he has managed academic computing services within OIT, including computer labs, printing and multimedia efforts, and he served as a member of the team that implemented IT services and support in The Link at Perkins Library. He has led OIT's IT service management function since 2008.

Davis holds a bachelor's degree in government from Harvard and a master's in business administration from Boston University.
